The District’s Board of Directors is composed of the City Council members of Fairfield and Suisun City. The Board president is elected by the Board from among its members. The District’s General Manager, who directly oversees the District’s operations, reports to the Board of Directors.
Adopting Ordinance 2016-02, the Board of Directors established guidance for adjusting Director Compensation. The Board of Directors shall be compensated at $182.72 per service day effective July 1, 2025.

District Board meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Board Room at 1010 Chadbourne Road, Fairfield, California. The meetings of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors are held on the third Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. Agendas for the regularly scheduled, and any special meetings, of the Board of Directors and its Executive Committee can be found by following the “Board Agendas/Minutes/Reports” link at the bottom of this page.
